2005-06 TCA Goldline League Season Ends!

The Championship Day that closed the season and determined this year's city champion was held on Saturday, April 1, 2006 at the Avonlea Curling Club.

Congratulations to the Tim March team from the Annandale Golf & Country Club for their unprecedented third win in a row. An outstanding accomplishment! All 12 teams in the league this year have demonstrated impressive curling skills, provided exciting games and have shown great sportsmanship.   For that, everyone deserves congratulations. See “League Results” for more on this.

Plans are in motion already for next year.

The TCA Goldline Junior Curling League gives Junior Curlers and advanced Bantam Curlers from the Greater Toronto and surrounding areas challenging games over a nine game schedule as they compete for the Toronto City Junior Curling Championship. In addition to the benefit of preparing curlers for other competitions leading to provincial and national championships, the league provides for friendly competition and new friendships. Previous participants have gone on to provincial, national and world-level competitions. See “League Information” for more on the league.

Watch the TCA website for details and application information for the 2006-07 season which starts next October.
