History
In 1994, as part of the Toronto & District Ladies Bonspiel, 16 Business Women teams participated. In 1998 with only 8 teams competing, the event was eliminated the following year.
In 2002, the Toronto Curling Association, in partnership with Johnson Controls, introduced the TCA Energizer Business Women Bonspiel as part of the Energizer series of bonspiels. The first bonspiel was held November 16 & 17 at High Park Curling Club. Sixteen teams participated in this two-day event. Lisa Allen and her team from Leaside Curling Club won the Main Event that year. In 2003 the event was hosted by the East York Curling Club and saw the bonspiel jump to 24 teams. It remained at 24 teams for the next three years. In 2007 the Toronto Curling Association was pleased to announce a new partnership with Revera Retirement Living (formerly the Retirement Residence Group) and introduced the TCA Revera Business Women Bonspiel. The 2007 bonspiel saw 32 teams come together to participate in one of the highlights of the Fall curling calendar. Mississaugua Golf and Country Club was the host club. Kelly MacIntosh and her team from East York Curling Club were the winners of the Main Event. Marilyn Johnson and her team from Glendale Curling Club won the 2008 Revera TCA Business Women's Bonspiel.
In 2009 the Revera TCA Business Women Bonspiel was won by Jennifer Allen and her team from the Barrie Curling Club. In 2010 Revera ended their sponsorship but we are pleased to welcome Delmanor as a partial sponsor of the event.
